Kalez can come off as grumpy and irritable when you first meet him. He can have a very sharp-tongue at times and can often be very sarcastic. He gets annoyed easily and tends to snap when angered. Despite his cold front and unapproachable demeanor, he's actually very reliable and would never break a promise. He's extremely hard-working and he always does his best when doing his duty or completing a job. He is responsible and very well-organized; never leaving things to the last minute or procrastinating. He puts all of his effort into doing something that he believes would help the Winter Court. Kalez knows when to keep his sharp tongue held back and will listen to your problems if you have any. He often comes up with advice that he thinks could be helpful to their situation and is a very reliable Felmark. He would easily put his life on the line to help his comrades if they are ever in trouble and he always puts his fellow Felmark and his Familiar before himself. He hates getting things wrong and can get frustrated easily, causing him to lash out at others and take his anger out on them, even if he doesn't mean to. If he accidentally hurts another Felmark's feelings, he will apologize sincerely. Most of the time, he's quite pessimistic and an optimistic thought hardly ever crosses his mind. He can appear kind of gloomy from his rather negative thought process, but he tries not to let it effect people too much and prefers to keep his thoughts to himself.
BACKSTORY
Kalez didn't actually start off as a grouchy individual. In fact, he was quite the optimistic and energetic one as a young kitten; he would often give his mother the tastiest bits of food and he would always let his fellow kits play the game they wanted to play. Until one day, he had a terrible nightmare that whispered to him about how a tiny kit like himself would never make it through life. He would never receive his artifact, his familiar would never be chosen, and he would always be a weak, pathetic kit that would be swallowed up by the world. This terrified him and when the time came for him to wake up, he was no longer the same. He treated others differently, often being moody and would always keep to himself. Being a kit, the dream he had had easily manipulated his entire view on the world and this stayed with him as he grew up. Although, now that he's more mature, he realized that the dream had influenced him way too easily and he vowed to become stronger and overcome it. He did eventually get over his anxiety, but with his sharp tongue still intact.

Rukro is generally a quiet bird and he never pokes into anyone else's business unless they want his insight on something. Due to his quiet and somewhat reserved nature, he is hardly ever annoying and is very tolerant of Kalez's constant mood swings. He is very patient and always treats others with respect. He never looks down on other beings- be it Felmark or bird and always gives Kalez plenty of space to be himself. He is very comfortable to be around, but sometimes he can be quite stubborn if he doesn't agree on something which sometimes leads into very minor bickering between him and Kalez that is always resolved quickly. He lacks Kalez's crabby attitude and he often tries to cheer his Felmark up when he is annoyed by something or someone. Rukro can be quite shy around other Felmark and birds and becomes very quiet around others. With Kalez, he is slightly more out-going and talkative and is not afraid to correct Kalez if he has made a mistake.

Roleplay example: Kalez walks through the rocky terrains of the territory of the Winter Court, his strong paw pads easily made trekking through the slightly rough ground easy. He raises his head when he hears the familiar sound of rushing water and he allows a small sigh of relief to escape his throat at the comforting sound. He bounds up a small stack of rocks, hearing the rushing gurgle grow louder in his ears.
Kalez feels a light weight land on one of his horns and he flicks his light blue gaze to see that his familiar had joined him, "Tired of flying, are we?" he asked, giving a slight twitch of his whiskers in amusement as he reaches the edge of the water and bends down low, lapping up the cool liquid with his small, pink tongue, ignoring the way the almost icy cold water brushed against his two front paws.
Once he had drank his fill, he raised his head as a droplet of water fell from one whisker. He lashed his tail slightly in annoyance when he realized that the sky had grown darker, signaling nightfall and he headed back to the campsite, his thirst quenched and his mind refreshed.
